Darjeeling teas are highly esteemed in the world of black teas, celebrated for their intricate aromas and nuanced flavors. The term "flushes" denotes the specific harvest periods: second flushes involve the second picking of the tea plants, typically occurring in late April or early May. During this phase, the small leaves are meticulously withered and rolled to enhance oxidation, resulting in a range of rich tones from chocolate-brown to silvery buds.
Our Darjeeling comes from the Singell Estate at an elevation of approximately 5,000 feet. It boasts classic second flush flavor properties complete with dark muscat notes. This blend yields a vibrant cup suitable for enjoyment throughout the day.

Steep 1 teaspoon for 3-5 minutes per 8 ounce boiled water.

This is the second time I've ordered a large quantity of Darjeeling and I was surprised at how fast I went through the first order.  The tea is fresh and fragrant with a full bouquet of flavor.
I first met the fine folks at T&T at a local crafts fair and they have been a pleasure to do business with.  The personalized attention is rare these days.
I also enjoy several other varieties upon occasion including their Iced Tea blends and Russian Caravan.
Definitely worth the cost.
